Happy New Year! I hope 2012 finds everyone rested and refreshed! After a short rest in Phoenix visiting family and playing one of my favorite gigs (percussion on a church gig I’ve held for five years, they have been nice enough to hire me back when I visit for the holidays!), I’m ready to be back in New York and get moving!

Music I’m excited to see: This Saturday January 7th, I’m so excited to check out some of my favorite percussionists in the business: Allison Miller, LaFrae Sci and Jane Boxall Allen do their thing with their various jazz, blues and fusion groups, along with a solo performance on marimba by Jane.
